Authorized Users of CITES computing services are categorized by their affiliations with the campus. Computing services and accounts are provided for students, employees, individuals, or organizations based upon these affiliations. A change in affiliation can affect an Authorized User's access to computing services.
To determine which CITES computing services are available to you, please select the category below that best fits your affiliation with the campus. Each link will take your to another page containing an outline of the services available to an individual with that affiliation.

The Office of the CIO, through Campus Information Technologies and Educational Services (CITES), is charged with ensuring the integrity of UIUCnet computers and communications in the Campus Administrative Manual. This includes defining who may use UIUCnet, the types of accounts available, and the duration of access as outlined in the "Policy on Appropriate Use of Computers and Network System," Section 8-1.
